Your game has a unique style that really drew me in, and the concept is refreshing and fun to explore. The puzzle elements are well thought out and offer a nice challenge, which keeps the player engaged. However, I noticed that some of the puzzles became repetitive after a few levels. Adding a bit more variety, perhaps through new mechanics or different types of obstacles, could keep players more intrigued as they progress. Also, there were a few moments when the game’s frame rate dipped, especially during transitions between levels, which slightly disrupted the experience. Optimizing these transitions could help the game feel smoother overall. That said, I think you've created a solid foundation with great potential! Keep up the awesome work; it's clear you've put a lot of effort into this project.
This game offers an exciting challenge, requiring quick reflexes to overcome obstacles. While it’s fun, the jump controls could be improved; a double click should make the character jump higher, helping players clear obstacles more easily. The gameplay is enjoyable but could benefit from adjustable control sensitivity to suit different player preferences. Adding lighting or shadow effects would enhance the climbing experience, and fixing the occasional lag during fast movements would improve performance. The concept is simple yet effective, and with more obstacles and variety, it could have great replay value. Overall, with a few adjustments, this game could be even more thrilling and enjoyable.
review from Group 20 - Game is overall basic and easy to play but idk why it gets crashed in my MacBook as it uses too much memory space to run and function , overall its good but you guys should focus on slowing down the character speed and add some obstacles in the game so that it can be more enjoyable to play.
Introduction: Introduction Death Climb is difficult, and the idea of such difficulty through climbing was something I enjoyed.
Constructive Criticism:
Gameplay Mechanics: The gameplay is fun, though a bit difficult. That would be perfectly alright if one were able to adjust control sensitivity to suit the likings of different players.
Design and Aesthetics: Some kind of lightning or shadowing would enhance the feel of climbing in this game.
Technical Performance: Sometimes, during fast motions, it lags. Optimization in this respect will make the game smoother.
Originality and Creativity: The idea is so simple yet effective. Make it with different obstacles or ways, and then it would have more replay value.
Conclusion: Death Climb is thrilling; it keeps one at the edge of their seat. A little tweak in it, and it can be made much enjoyable. Well done for the intensity!
Group 2: It is a very interesting game, which makes us use our quick thinking and reflexes to move the character to go to the next huddle. The one aspect of the game that I think can improve is the jump controls. While a single click can make the character jump, a double click just makes it jump twice; the improvement I think it can use is that a double click can make the character jump twice the height of the original jump which will help the player over the obstacles. Otherwise, this is a really well thought game and am sure will get more interesting with added levels and obstacles.
Group 39 review: The map size and the visuals impressed me very much. The labyrinth is very well designed. However, the game is very very difficult. The character speed is not well regulated. Adding more interactive elements such as health items and other collectibles could improve the player experience very much. Overall, the game looks okay.
Review from group 35: The game is vey challenging, maybe a little too challenging. When I first opened the game I was expecting to use w,a,s,d to move, but the game uses the arrows to move instead. It would be nice to have a small tutorial or easier levels to get used to the controls and the different surfaces (like the red squares) and some more time to beat the levels. Overall, not bad.
Group 32 Review: This game is really challenging, the map is huge and also well-designed, but I think the character speed is a little bit fast which lead to hard to control and to win the level.
Overall, this is a good game, hope you guys can develop it further.
Group 1 Review: Game works great, although the controls feel slightly less intuitive with the arrow keys rather than WASD, and the player isn't given much instruction, but the game is intuitive enough for the player to figure it out on their own anyway.

What in the dark souls? I understand the challenge, however my only issue is the player moves too fast
